A visit to the Symphony Orchestra

 Term 1 Week 10

Our whole school piled into three buses and off we went to the Mt Albert War Memorial Hall to hear the Youth Symphony Orchestra. What an amazing sound!  It was such special day and afterwards  some students wanted to learn the clarinet, the saxophone, the harp,, flutes, piccolo, and bass. Nalisa even had the opportunity to conduct the orchestra and some students were allowed to go and sit in the orchestra space to hear what the music sounds like there.  We heard all the instruments one by one and of course we heard them all play together.
