Term 1 Week 2  

We were so proud to see our school on the front page of The Central Leader. Room 9 had just got their new Chromebooks and the article was written to show that technology can really help us learn in new amazing ways. Our class has Chromebooks too and we are learning how to use Google Docs and Drawings. Hay Park School is preparing 21st Century learners!

Happy New Year!

Term 1 Week 1 

  Morris  class welcomes you to a new year at Hay Park School.  We are just beginning the year and we are going to be thinking and learning about  manawaroa or resilience. We described ourselves today, our strengths, and also what we want to learn this year.  Most of us said we were keen to learn about computers and ipads. I wonder what you want to learn!

Musicians in the making!

We have been learning how to play a tuned musical instrument. It was a time to make sounds and learn about the names of the notes.  Aryan and Armaan are working out how to play Mary had a little lamb.
